Here are the following Release Notes from 01/03 to 01/07:
What is the change? | Who did it change for? | Where did the change occur? |
Introducing the Fee Bank - The new Fee Bank function allows users to create and manage a repository of commonly applied fees at the brokerage. Instead of manually recreating each fee while reviewing the transaction, users can now create a fee in the bank that already knows the correct settings, and then to select it from the bank options when adding manual fees to an agent’s commission. Creating the brokerage’s bank of fees is simple! Accessed from within the Commission Schedule Library page, the Fee Bank page is where users can add and manage the fees collected as part of the brokerage’s operations. Fees can be generated by utilizing the Add Fee button as shown in the illustration below, and users can define preset selections such as the tracking accounts, disbursement type, amounts, and more. Now adding manual fees to a commission is faster and more efficient. Users can click the View Fees Detail button to view a list of Commission-based fees that are on the transaction’s commission, and clicking the Add Manual Fee button gives users the option to choose and apply one of the fees stored in the Fee Bank. | Users with Accounting and System Admin permissions. | Click Transactions (dashboard menu) > Commissions > Commission Schedules > Click Commission Schedule Library button > Click Fee Bank button |
Import Buyer Documents to Transaction Documents - Not only can you use the Contacts options to add your prospective buyers into the system, users now have the ability to add and store documents alongside their Buyer Detail profile. Clicking the Manage Documents button forwards you to the buyer’s document list where you can upload and store documents that have been signed by your buyers - even if a transaction has not occurred. Once a buyer is attached to a transaction, the buyer’s Document List page will display the Import Buyer Documents button. This button lists all of the documents previously uploaded to the Buyer Detail page and allows the user to add them directly to the transaction. These buttons aid in reducing the redundancy caused by re-uploading documents to multiple transactions for the same buyer. | All Brokerage Engine users. | Click Transactions (dashboard menu) > Pending > Locate Desired Transaction > Click Action button > Edit Transaction page > Click Transaction Documents |
Edit An Agent’s Commission Details - With this update, an agent’s commission details can now be edited directly from their agent page. Clicking the Commission Detail button forwards users to the Commission Detail page where you can make edits to an agent’s commission schedules, settlement preferences, bank accounts, and view an agent’s accounting entities. In one convenient location, you can view and manage an agent’s preferences associated with commission payments. | Users with System Admin permissions. | Click Agents (dashboard menu) > Locate Desired Agent Profile > Click Edit Details > Click Commission Details button |
Commission Detail Page Enhancement - Users can now find the names of any buyers and sellers in two new locations on the Commission Detail page. The left navigation of the Commission Detail page includes a tile that displays information regarding the transaction. Under the External Transaction Ref # Finalized header are the two new headers, Buyer and Seller, where the names will be listed. In addition, you can find buyer and seller names available for selection when entering concessions. A new concession can be added to a transaction by navigating to the Commissions Breakdown Details tile and clicking Concession > Add Concession. Once clicked, this button opens a window with the Commission Recipient field where users will have the option to select the name of the buyer or seller. | Users with System Admin, and Accounting permissions. | Click Transactions (dashboard menu) > Pending > Locate Desired Transaction > Click Action Button > Click Commission Detail button |
Transaction Tag Updates - The Commission Breakdown Detail tile gives users the options to add, edit, and delete Transaction tags applied to both the Buying and Listing side of a transaction. Clicking the Edit Transaction Tag button will give users the option to edit the tags for both sides at the same time within the same window. In addition, a dropdown menu will appear when adding new tags, displaying all of the tags that are currently in the system. Not only does it simplify the process of adding transaction tags, this new dropdown option reduces the chance of misapplying or misspelling tags to the transaction. | Users with Admin, System Admin, and Accounting permissions. | Click Transactions (dashboard menu) > Pending > Locate Desired Transaction > Click Action Button > Click Commission Detail button |
Introducing the Tag Bank - The new Tag Bank function allows users to create and manage a repository of commonly applied tags. Instead of manually creating tags every time, users can now create a tag in the bank, and then select it from the tag options when adding tags to a commission schedule or transaction. Creating the brokerage’s bank of tags is simple! Accessed from the Brokerage Settings page, the Tag Bank page is where users can add and manage the user-defined tags in the system. Tags can be generated by clicking the Add Tag button and users can create, edit, and delete tags using the options on the page. | Users with System Admin permissions. | Click Transactions (dashboard menu) > Commissions > Brokerage Settings > Click Tag Bank button |
Introducing the Buyer Contacts Page - Under the Contacts tab, the new Buyers page allows users to create and manage their prospective buyer’s contact information inside the system, reducing the need to use different applications to manage these details. The Buyer page displays a table with the contact information for all buyers. From here, users can use the table filter options to sort and select current buyers, or they can click New Buyer to create a new contact. Note that Agents will be able to view their own contacts, while Admins and System users can view the brokerage’s entire list. | Users with Admin and System Admin permissions. | Navigate to Contacts (dashboard menu) > Click Contacts > Buyers |
