Here are the following Release Notes from 04/11 to 04/15:
What is the change? | Who did it change for? | Where did the change occur? |
Recalc Button Utility Update - The Recalc button located on the Commission Detail page has been changed so that it will only be clickable if the transaction status is in an “Open” or “Accounting Verified” status. Once a transaction has been moved through these statuses, users will need to revert to one of these statuses to perform system recalculations and re-complete the transaction workflow steps for your brokerage. | Users with Accounting and System Admin permissions. | Navigate to Transactions (dashboard menu) > Pending > Locate Desired Transaction > Click Action button > Click Commission Detail button > Click Recalc button |
New Accounting Download PDF Option - The Accounting Details tile on a transaction’s Commission Details page now gives users the option to download a pdf of the transaction’s P&L report. Users can navigate to the tile and click the View Entries > View P&L Report, then click the Download PDF button to generate the pdfs. This new functionality makes it easy for users to print and analyze critical accounting data related to a transaction. | Users with Accounting and System Admin permissions. | Navigate to Transactions (dashboard menu) > Pending > Locate Desired Transaction > Click Action button > Click Commission Detail button > Locate Accounting Details tile >Click View P&L Report button >Click Download PDF button |
View Transactions for Closing Entities - We have added the View Transactions button to the Closing Entity Detail page, enabling users to view all transactions associated with a closing entity. This button is available under the profile for every closing entity regardless of its associated tag (e.g., referral, disbursement, mortgage). In the View Transactions window, users can use the filter options to search based on a transaction’s property address, office, status, or listing/buying agent. After the desired transaction is located, users can click the Edit icon on the corresponding row to navigate to that transaction’s page in the system. | Users with Accounting and System Admin permissions. | Navigate to Transactions (dashboard menu) > Pending > Click Closing Entities button > Locate Desired Entity > Click View Details button > Click View Transactions button |
New Estimated Launch Date Tag for Coming Soon Listings - We have made a change to the verbiage for the listings displayed under the Coming Soon tile. When Quick Launching a new listing, users can add an Anticipated Launch Date for the listing, to indicate when the listing is expected to launch on the market. This date will create a tag for the listing’s Coming Soon announcement, and will display “Est. Launch Date DD/MM/YYYY” in the Dashboard Coming Soon tile. This update is meant to help eliminate confusion on the listing’s estimated and actual launch date fields. | All Brokerage Engine users. | Navigate to Quick Launch (dashboard menu) |
New Commission Schedule Search Option - Users now have a new tool to search and filter through different Agent commission schedules based on specified criteria (in the example above, to search for all commission schedules that include a transaction coordinator fee that is being charged incorrectly). Using a new URL(https://yoursite.com/admin/active-commission-schedules) users can click Search to open a new window with options to search commission schedules based on the name of a fee, where it is charged to, and where it is calculated from. Clicking Search in the window executes the search criteria and returns the applicable commission schedule search results for review and editing as necessary. | Users with Accounting and System Admin permissions. | N/A |
Updates to the Escrow Deposit Tile - We have changed the layout of the buttons displayed within the Escrow Deposits tile. When entering a new escrow deposit, the page will still display the options to select View Details and Add Deposit. However, once a deposit has been added, the dropdown menu has been eliminated, https://brokerage-engine.thinkific.com/users/express_signin/set_password?email=amber.saunders%40brokerageengine.comand the Add Deposit, Add Payments, and Keep Remaining Escrow options have been moved. The Keep Remaining Escrow option still displays in the tile. For the Add Deposit and Add Payments options, users must now click View Details, where they will be available on their respective Deposits and Payments tabs. This change is meant to assist users with reviewing the current deposits and payments in the system before adding new ones to the transaction. | Users with Accounting and System Admin permissions. | Navigate to Transactions (dashboard menu) > Pending > Locate Desired Transaction > Click Action button > Click Commission Detail button > Locate Escrow Deposit tile |
Commission Distribution Calculation Update - We have updated the process for calculating a commission’s total distribution amount. The amount displayed in the Distribution tile will now reflect the sum of any bonus payments added to the Agent Net amount. Originally, bonus payments were added manually to the Commission Breakdown, but the payments were not factored into the Agent Net’s calculation and these had to be addressed manually. This update eliminates the extra task requirement and creates a smoother system-based calculation for the values. | Users with Accounting and System Admin permissions. | Navigate to Transactions (dashboard menu) > Pending > Locate Desired Transaction > Click Action button > Click Commission Detail button > Locate Distribution tile |
Accounting Revocation Function Update - We have made updates to the Revoke functionality on a transaction. In a typical brokerage workflow, once a transaction has been closed and a user has clicked the Upload to Accounting button to send the transaction data over to the accounting system, the transaction displays the option to click the Revoke button and pull the data back. However, at this time, users are unable to utilize the Revoke button to rescind data sent to accounting if a transaction has paid invoices associated with it. As these paid invoices are not reversed by the Revoke action in a transaction, we have made this change in order to prevent invoices from being paid erroneously. | Users with Accounting and System Admin permissions. | Navigate to Transactions (dashboard menu) > Pending > Locate Desired Transaction > Click Action button > Click Commission Detail button > Click Revoke button |
