Here are the following Release Notes from 07/18 - 07/22:
What is the change? | Who did it change for? | Where did the change occur? |
Escrow Deposit Journal Entries - We have made changes to the Escrow Deposits options on a transaction. With this update, users can now journal escrow deposit payments regardless of their status in the system. Before this update, users had to balance escrow deposits by paying any amounts due before adding the deposit to their journal. | Users with System Admin and Accounting permissions. | Navigate to Transactions (dashboard menu ) > Pending > Locate Desired Transaction > Click Action button > Click Commission Detail button > Locate Escrow Deposits tile |
Agent Threshold Tags - On a transaction’s Commission Detail page, we have made updates to the agent information displayed. For agents who are assigned a threshold-based commission schedule, users will notice a tag displayed under the agent’s name. At a glance, this tag indicates the level the agent is at for their commission schedule (LV1, LV2, and so on), as well as their percentage towards the next level. | All Brokerage Engine Users. | Navigate to Transactions (dashboard menu ) > Pending > Locate Desired Transaction > Click Action button > Click Commission Detail button |
Referral Closing Entity Company Name Options - Referral type closing entities now have the option for users to capture the entity’s legal and display/DBA names for accounting purposes. On the Closing Entity Detail page, users can click the Accounting Info button to open a new window where the new Company Legal Name field can be used to save the official name of an entity. Once a company name is saved, the change is automatically updated on the entity’s accounting records, which can be reviewed by clicking the View in Accounting button which will forward users to the related Vendor Detail page in the Accounting module. | Users with System Admin and Accounting permissions. | Navigate to Transactions (dashboard menu) > Pending > Click Closing Entities > Locate Desired Entity > Click Action button > Click Accounting Info button |
New Auto Invoice Generation Feature Applied to Bills - The Auto Invoice Generation feature in Accounting now allows users to create new invoices that correspond to bills (i.e., billable expense charges). After the user creates a new bill, an invoice is created and the bill is marked as “Closed”. The financial data reflected in the bill is automatically copied into the invoice along with any memos. Users can navigate to the Accounting Sales Transactions page to review both the bill and the invoice. They’ll notice that while the bill’s status is “Closed” the invoice’s status is “Open” and awaiting payment. This automated feature saves users time by eliminating the need to manually create and send invoices to vendors. | Users with System Admin and Accounting permissions. | N/A |
