Make a Marketing Opportunity Taxable
Overview:
In this article, we'll review how to make a Marketing Opportunity taxable. When building/editing a Marketing Opportunity, checking the Taxable Checkbox will do the work for you by automatically adding tax.
- Taxable purchases can vary from state to state, so this feature makes it easy to collect tax if the service your business provides should be taxed.
- Agents will see this as a line item under Total Due before submitting the order as well as on the invoice. Screenshot of sample invoice is noted below.
- Uses the tax rate set as part of system configuration. This means tax would be applied to ALL invoices generated within system.
