Email Document File Attachment into File


Overview:

In this article, we will outline how to send documents directly into a Document List by email. 

This feature is helpful as it allows a user to forward attachments without needing to download and manually upload them into the system.

  • Each document file has its own dedicated email address
  • Any emailed documents will appear at the bottom of the Document List with the status Received
  • The email body and attachments are logged in the Activity Log for reference


Important to Know

  • Only PDF files can be emailed into the system. PNG or other formats (such as those commonly found in email signatures) will not be accepted.

  • May take up to fifteen minutes for the document to appear in the Document List
